    Re: Bring Carlos Querioz back

finnally i have somene on my side i brought this topic up a couple of months ago but no one joined the part i feel since we have a multicultural team stracture the best thing you need is a foreign assistant manager i thot the day Fergi picked Phelan he was wrong first the thing in football many teams big ones i mean, use too many south american players and believe many ports and spanish players feel comfortable wen they can communicate wit there comrades in spanish and if you have a foreign speaking manager its great and the other thing with uk or english managers, they are too defencive minded, players don't like that especially from spanish leagues, coz they are offensive minded, so i can say if we get it right by bringing back Carlos Querize then am sure we can play good football but i did like our formation at chelsea ,4-2-3-1, may be playin the same midfeild for a long time without changing it much will help it to gel,i like Ando's kill passes i fink letting him express him self will be great becoz he is not a holding mid,i thot perharps giggs had a bad day at the office, some of our finishing was not good rooney shud have passed for ando to score and boi, i loved the pace and more pace.

for me...not now for carlos...the time he'll be bcak is the time when SAF ready to retire..he's been to madrid..as their manager..now he's with portugal national team...i bet he's trying to prove his worth and gain more knowledge...and i dun think this is a real world activity gooin around..i think its just a training for carlos..he's sent out by gergie to add more knowledge...create a better formation  with different type and skillfull players...and when he get back to OT..He'll be the one after mourinho...to continue SAF's success...i agree he gave a lot for united..both of them are great when they combine ideas...tactical...skills...formation..creativity...everything is perfect if SAF and CQ are together...believe me..CQ Leave for good and will come back for outstanding results in future...

    Re: Bring Carlos Querioz back

I have a feeling that it was Querioz the man behind our terrific attacking strength 2 season ago. as he left our side play boring attacking football more.Last season we did fine in case of results but too much rely on CR7 and became small in big clash vs Liverfool Barca. This season no CR7 it's boring and we look shaky in big clash.it's not Phelan to blame he always here for years but missing Carlos is the case. Phelan does his job all the time but noone has done anything about Carlos place since he left.

    Re: Bring Carlos Querioz back

1st Mike Phelan has had plenty of years with us i think hes been around for something like 20 years or so maybe a little less not to sure but i think ferguson believes he brings something he doesnt have to the table. Also Mike isnt goin to improve peoples flair creativity and vision hes not that sort of coach hes more defensive then offensive so thats why he doesnt work on out players ability 2 express themselfs but mind you i think we still been makin plenty of mistakes in the back so draw your own conclusions

2nd i do agree we seem to be very lackluster in the creativity department but i dont think it has something 2 do with that coaches because we still have Rene who is a brilliant technical coach i think its due 2 lack of creative players it sounds stupid but its a big thing in our side look at our players and look at da creativity in it only creative players are players who are on there last legs or 2 young 2 make a difference

3rd i do think Mike doesnt add alot because hes very simular to Ferguson and what i mean by that is... they both very defensive so he doesnt really add anything new or different to ferguson so maybe hes a good coach but he cant offer anything different to the party like carlos did ... maybe its bout players and tactics that can be used due to lack of attackin ability

last note ok this is my full opinion on the matter its only an opinion i think we should of given Rene the Assistant's seat and bring in a few new coaches who can develop technical abilities in players but also try and fill up our youth team with top youngsters who at some point can be classed as world class we need more players like Petrucci , Morrison & Pogba just to fill our youth up with future greats but also with the greatest coaches aswell people like Franco Baresi and them sort of coaches but also i think we need a few more players still

    Re: Bring Carlos Querioz back

Mike Phelan has been ok so far... but I agree, Carlos Quieroz is a great assistant manager (and a very, very bad manager)... he speaks so many different languages that it helps so many foreign players to adapt quickly. What I came to realize was, with Carlos... he helps strengthen the camaraderie in the team. Thus, bringing out the best in 'team' football...

You can see that the players being a bit more individualistic this season compare to in previous years (when Carlos was around)... last year, the team scored far fewer goals than in any other season...

mike phelan isn't pathetic or fergie wouldn't have appointed him as his assistant

mike phelan isn't pathetic or fergie wouldn't have appointed him as his assistant BUT i do think we miss carlos queiroz and his tactics in the big games. i think it was his idea to implement the whole 3 men in midfield in the big games and you look at our record against the big teams with him as fergie's assistant it was quite terrific

no plan B? well if you think that then wat happend against tottenham? 2-0 half time then come back to win 5-2. you have got to give the players and the staff the appreciation they deserve for that.

Yep....completely agree......but it was also our best performance of the season so far by a MILE and unfortunately it stands out as the only example amongst too many occasions when we haven't had an answer.
