Surely it up to the members to decide if they are being provoked or not, we obviously have people on here with different views, if you suppress those views then you don't have a forum.

It is not about suppressing views. You start from the premise that all posts we delete are expressing any substantive views at all. New accounts, possibly opened by rival fans, will submit nuisance posts scattered thoughout the forum regardless of subject, often of little content, solely designed to provoke. It comes down to what kind of forum members want and we are trying to use our sense.

may be you should consider the vital points some fans are making into consideration that will help the team, we are the people that make the team. he is right, everything is bias now. before i was a fan of manchester united there was greatness even when our players walk the field, now our defence are week, we have a goalkeeper problem and we don't even see our great players play..

 Supporters are supposed to want whats best for the team, even if it means being critical.But yeah some of the posters on this can be ridiculous.

There should be a tv thingie in place for the refs, like rugby. And we should be able to challenge decisions like in American Football.

Supporter mean to support the team not to criticize the team, but there is still to discuss about the team in a polite way. I say there is to discuss as so the referee system which does not allow anyone to discuss the right wrong  thing.  Darn it.

It really depends what is said.  If you look at your pal Irish_legend...He hasn't been banned yet and all he does is avoid the swear filter and rile people up.

So obviously we don't want to ban anyone.  We just need to keep things under control.

Perhaps you can give me a specific direct question?  Or point me in the direction of a specific user.

Ive decided to do the grown up thing & let this go. I've made myself clear several times on the issue of ignorant & insulting kids on here who've admitted there sole intention on this forum is to wind up other posters. I think the fact that they are allowed to do that is an issue for the Talking Reds forum, believe me when i say this on the more popular football forums, wind up merchants are not tolerated, as they are seen to be a thorn in the side to the decent fans & contributers of the forum & also the moderaters. But as i said im letting it go now & am going to do my best to ignore these posters & imparticular one poster.

While i have you id also like to state that

1. Irish-legend is no pal of mine nor i a pal of his.

2. He is not Irish. He is English & said this several times on here over the years, along with other things i dont forget.

If i provoke another user on this forum by means of name calling. insulting personal remarks, & use of bad language, how long will ye let me continue as a member of this forum.

LOL. Thanks for replying. You 3 will have your hands full tonight. But that is why we wanted you here. You are all doing a good job part time, I am happy. Tonight, because we lost, will be like the "D-Day landings". I had my Grandchildren down today, so a loss is a win for me with them 2 running riot!!

We can see where the new regime is going.....................................happy clappy posters need only post threads.

This is supposed to be a forum yet you new mods are deciding what is a good or bad post...................SENSORSHIP lives and thrives here.,

All forums have rules that have to be followed.  We are here to enforce those rules.  We are not censoring views.  Most threads that people are complaining about being deleted have either been moved ot the correct forum or merged with a thread that is talking about the same subject.  For too long this did not happen and people cried out for it to change.  Now it is changing people are still moaning.  It seems we can't do right for doing wrong. 

Where we edit posts it is because a forum rule has been broken i.e use of swearing, avoiding the swear filter or using text language.  Those Forum Terms are what you agreed to follow when you signed up to become a member of these forums.  If you don't follow them then you can expect action to be taken.  It is as simple as that.
