The below is the team that I would like to see play, give Powell & Buttner a run in the team.
Subs: Amos/Lindegaard, Smalling, Vidic, Anderson, Nani, Valencia, Welbeck, Hernandez
I would play Kagawa AND Rooney in the (w)hole lol, pretty narrow but hey we were narrow against Newcastle earlier in the season and got 2 early goals and ...

West Ham Utd 1 - 3 Man Utd.. RVP, Rooney & Welbeck

Firstly I am not sure Falcao is the answer at this moment in time, fantastic player but just not sure if he is the player to give us the edge - midfield area is where it is at, however, if only (and I mean only) Falcao arrives in the summer then this would be my line-up.
I would have Carrick & Cleverley in the middle, Rooney & ...

I know Sir Alex would not go with this line-up but if I were the manager I would experiment a little - pack out the midfield area so we can play simple passes but hey that's just me - wingers have been pretty terrible this season so going with this line-up the football should be of a better quality than we have seen of late
Subs: ...

Seeing as Rooney is likely to miss this match, I would go with the following
Welbeck & Kagawa can keep switching to left and centre respectively. Tough decision at the back, whether to go with Ferdinand/Vidic/Evans at centre back. But would like to see the old guard given a try, although I have a feeling Sir Alex will play Ferdinand ...

Seeing as we do not play again until Saturday, which = to 5 days rest I would be inclined to include a various amount of 1st team - mainly due to fitness levels etc

Corr, I swear this is the most posts users have done regards to a line up & predictions ha, anyhow here goes mine - only if Jones fit, if not put Cleverley in there and maybe a different formation/tactic to take into the Madrid game
Subs: Lindegaard, Evans, Smalling, Nani, Cleverley, Kagawa, Scholes, Giggs, Hernandez, Welbeck
-
If Carrick is indeed injured then I would go with this team - then bring in Rafael, Ferdinand, Carrick, Anderson, Kagawa & Van Persie for the Madrid game

Maybe Fergie has words with De Gea in training etc regarding these transfer rumours. Most of us never see/hear issues behind the scenes but I am adamant that when paper/internet rumour Ball S... comes out, Fergie clarifies the situation with the player specified and states it to be untrue
