I agree with OP on Thiago.Think he has huge potential & is the best option for the CM position.Getting him is another matter though.But if you dont ask you dont get.

Thiago & Bale would be lush.Or Modric & Bale.Or Thiago & Ronaldo.A combination of these 4 players would be superb.
