  • Statue of Bob Wilson.

    Does anybody Know why we unveiled a statue of Bob Wilson outside Old Trafford yesterday? The event was attended by a load of our former players, thousands of United fans, and the worlds press. I admit Mr. Wilson was a decent player, and a good pundit. But, he was an Arsenal player! Shouldn't the statue be outside the Emerites Stadium? ...

    I'll jump in with a fairly easy one to keep the game moving. 1) He technically does not have a nationality because he was born at sea in international waters. 2) He has however played 7 times for his adoptive country. 3) He was heavily linked with Arsenal a few years ago.

    1) He was one of the finest players of his generation. Arguably the best player from one of the best teams never to win the world cup. 2) He died tragically young under suspicious circumstances. 3) He was famously loyal to his country, which could have led to his death.
