Anderson was one of our better players today. The moment he got taken off we lost whatever we had in the midfield. Giggs playing in centre does not simply work. As for Valencia, the less said about him the better.

It has always been our team selection, our tactics and our subs that lose games for us. I do not think United need to many fancy names. Just someone like Quiroz would do the trick.
-
Forget about the sending off, we were bound to lose with this selection and to make it worse the substitutions. I cannot understand why Valencia and Giggs were left on while Ando was taken off. He was playing well and the moment he got taken off we lost whatever influence we had in the midfield.

Hernandez will score goals if he gets the chances. Well Welbeck, the chance of him tripping over his over own feet is greater than scoring. I also feel that Hernandez is hard done by SAF. If he gets the number of chances, Welbeck is given he would have scored a lot more goals by now.
Now Hernandez is a better scorer than even Rooney. Van Persie ...

Bandon, I agree with you on the two man midfield business. I also did not know when David Beckham became a winger? We never played with two wingers regularly those days. It was a three man midfield of Keane, Scholes and Beckham and we even had Ronny playing in midfield too.
We are bound to get over run in midfield with a two man midfield against ...

Pogba has played about 20 games so far for Juventus with 13 starts at least. Not bad for a player who could not get into the United side with a midfield of Carrick, Anderson, Cleverly, Giggs and Scholes.
He is also now in the French squad. He would become among the best midfield players I think and we made a huge mistake with him.
-
In reality we play with 4 forwards as we have 2 strikers and two wingers. Most teams play at least with three so we get outnumbered in midfield sometimes. Carrick has a very poor two years but now he is the first on the team sheet probably.

He was poor and all the players were poor today. But he turns his back to a lot of balls and hence get beaten too easily when defending. i never thought he was a United quality player anyway.
-
He has said that he has tried to get the club to let him go as he wants to play so as to have a chance to play in the World Cup. He is not half as a bad player that some people make him out to be. Yesterday was a day he should have come on for Cleverly before they scored. He could not be any worse and at least would hold the ball a lot better than ...

[quote user="c.thomas howell as soul man"][quote user="liamm"]So fatigue was the reason, Hmm? Then why select tired players? Smalling could have come in for Rafael, Rio and Jonny looked solid and no signs of fatigue, Buttner Could have come in for Evra, Nani looked good til he got injured, and Valencia is just poor., as was ...
