Most people on here like to harp on about the "poor" quality of our midfield, but imo that is just not true. The problem us i see it is poor selection and tactics. Carrick is a quality player, just don't expect him to chase, hassle anyone in a game or make a bursting run (ala Yaya Toure) into space. Cleverly is clever but lacks ...
