• Re: Formation next season

I think we should give 4-2-3-1 a chance as it seems like a good formation. But, I believe we should be playing Rooney right up front to accomodate Kagawa. We will still have Giggs, Scholes, Evans, Jones, Smalling, Welbeck, Hernandez, etc. as backups. Realistically, both Modric and Strootman should cost at most 45 million pounds, and with rumors ...

  • Re: could be good 70m on these 3 yes please

Probably the three best would be James Rodriguez, Javi Martinez, and Christian Eriksen. I don't think Bilbao will let all three go, and I think these three lads would cost a combined total of around £70 million. £20 million for Rodriguez, £30 million for Martinez, £20 million for Eriksen.

  • Re: Any portuguese fans here? How good are...

Although I don't watch the Portuguese league every week, I watch it once in a month or so, and I've seen them all play. United's best bet would be Rodriguez. The lad is simply exciting and whenever he gets on the ball, you can't help but expect something brilliant. He reminds me of a younger Ronaldo, except he's got a desire to ...

  • Re: Ecuadorian Roberto Carlos

The lad looks brilliant. I haven't heard of him before, but I tried to get a few glimpses of him once I heard about his trial with Tottenham. He is one we can not let go. He could probably play on the left wing as well as a few of you have mentioned. And, I agree that he'll be good for us and I hope he's humble like Antonio. Hoping for ...

  • Re: Today's Paper Round - Two Interesting Transfer Rumours

shlongconnery, according to reports, Martinez has a release clause of £28 million. I'm not sure how true it is, but it seems believable. Him alongside Strootman would be a pleasure to see. No defensive and attacking midfielder, just two hard working lads who attack and defend equally. Together, they will cost us between £45 to £50 million.

  • Re: Best time to buy modric

Martinez has a release clause of £28 million, while in £22 million we can easily pick up Strootman, so there's a good 50 million spent. Strootman will be close to £15 million.

  • Re: Adding another LB

Although one more left back would be nice, I can see Fabio taking that position. He is better than Rafael when fit in my opinion as he is more composed and defensively alert while Rafael likes to be more adventurous. Siqueira would be a nice addition, so would Alba. But, we have Blackett and Fryers coming through, so LB is not a priority.
  • Re: Today's Paper Round - Two Interesting Transfer Rumours

I think out of the two rumors, the second one is more believable. I wouldn't be surprised because Pogba is making a meal of this. I know he is a great talent, but he needs to prove himself. I'm sure anyone with common sense would know that we can give him the foundation to launch his career and become a legend here. If he wants to trade ...

  • Re: Grant Hanley - "Hands off" - Steve . K

I think there could be space for Hanley. Smalling, Hanley, and Evans will be our centre back options. Which only could mean one thing: Jones will be trained to become a defensive midfielder. And, it makes sense. Jones has natural ability and it would be a shame to see it wasted. We have Vida and Rio as our first choice right now, but Smalling, ...

  • Re: United watching Granada ace
Seems a bit weird I guess we might be looking to see who is there for the fullback slot. Dont know much about this guy, anyone know much about him?
I've seen him on a couple of occasions. The thing about him is he's got that Spanish mentality (pass it around) to play the ball out of ...
